It seems Jay-Z and Coldplay are getting millions to perform at the highly anticipated opening of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve. Those attending the invite-only event will see the two artists perform separately and then together in a mash-up. “Organizers have spent millions securing the acts,” claims a source. “The word is that Beyoncé is now looking for a Vegas
New Year’s gig so she will be in town with Jay.”

@Eminem are Jay-Z are currently gearing up for their first date at Comercia Park in Detroit tomorrow. I have some pictures from the soundcheck (spot him if you can) as well as couple of videos after the jump, taken from outside the stadium. On a very careful listen, you can here Em performing ‘Won’t Back Down’ and ‘Love The Way You Lie.’

If you’re a Justin Bieber fan, New York City’s Madison Square Garden gig last night was the one you did not want to miss. The milk enthusiast kicked off his show by bringing out his heroes, cruisin’ crooners Boyz II Men, for a performance of their 1994 hit “On Bended Knee.” But that was just the beginning, as throughout the evening he also paired up on stage with Sean Kingston, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Jaden Smith and Ludacris. Watch below. Of course, there was a reason for the dazzling array of Biebtastic guest performers—Justin’s stop in the Big Apple was being filmed for his upcoming 2011 3-D movie. Let’s just hope the footage Bieber’s camp shot is better than that of the following fan videos! He performed “Bended Knee” with Boyz II Men, “Overboard” with Miley Cyrus, “Never Say Never” with Jaden Smith & “Baby” with Ludacris to name a few. What no Drake this time? LOL J/K. Drake recently announced via uStream that Lil Wayne is planning to do a huge concert show [perhaps at MSG in New York City] on November 5th, 24 hours after his release from prison. Weezy Fans are going to go crazy over this!!!
I heard Wayne suggest that it would be DOPE to come straight from jail & hop on stage, so I’ve been keeping my ears to the ground to hear if its a go…I will be there front row & all for this show!!!!!! Be on the look out because these tickets will be sold out before they go on sale! lol. It will definitely be EPIC!
